TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ORDERS PLACED BY TELEPHONE, E-MAIL OR VIA ARTCOMPARIS’s WEBSITE.

1. LEGAL RIGHTS
We reserve the right, without prior notice, to discontinue products or change specifications and prices of products.
The values on our Euro Price List are public and substitute any other price list published or advertised before.
Prices always refer to a single unit and VAT is not included in the price. All legal taxes and fees must be subsequently added to the price.
All prices are EX WORK: they do not include any transportation cost or fees.
4. SHIPPING COSTS AND CONDITIONS
Shipping costs are available on request, and the delivery time depends of the shipping options you choose (air, land or sea) and on your location. All shipping and logistic companies are requested to provide transport insurance. Whenever the client chooses to transport the product(s) by his/her own method or mean? ArtCom Paris will be free of any charges or responsibility over events that might occur during transportation.
If the transportation is requested to be provided by ArtCom Paris, it will be charged apart from the product’s value. Please note all transportation companies require the receiver of the goods to verify their status with the carrier upon delivery. The POD (Proof of Delivery) must be signed with reservations subject to verification with / without apparent damage and provided to the shipping company and ArtCom Paris whenever necessary. Failure to do so and to provide written claim for any damage or loss within 7 working days of the delivery will automatically release the shipping company and ArtCom Paris for any liability for damage sustained in transit cargo. ArtCom Paris will also not be liable for any damages resulting from handling, loading or unloading by persons acting on behalf of the receiver. Any transportation of the piece from destination to a second location will forfeit any transportation damage claim.

Standard packaging and crates for international shipping standards are included in the price. Should the client require specific packaging, it will be charged accordingly.
The production starts, only when we receive the downpayment and not when the contract/ pro forma invoice is signed.
The lead time starts the day the order goes into production.
Every design is made to order. We carry very limited stock. The stock may vary on daily basis and requires daily update. Please contact us for the ready to ship items.
8. STORAGE FEES
Storage fees may be applied up to of 10% of total invoice price per week if outstanding invoice balance is not paid in full and/or shipping arrangements have not been made within ten (10) business days after being informed that the order is ready. The 10% charge will be compounding each week in France.
9. INVOICE SERVICES
ArtCom Paris may provide all of the following services for a special fee. Please contact our staff regarding prices:
Certificate of Origin, Authentication of Invoices, Inspections, Storage and Demurrage, Change of Details on Final Invoice.
10. HAND-CRAFTED ARTISTRY
All ArtCom Paris creations are hand-crafted by the best trained workshops with their carefully selected artisans which can satisfy the most demanding clients. As all our production is hand made, and as many finishes in marble and metal are applied by hand, they may vary in color, tone and character. We make every effort to match a finish, however no guarantee can be made of an exact match. We provide specifications and manuals for cleaning and maintaining our products.
If not applied, ArtCom Paris does not guarantee finishes against fading and oxidising throughout the years.
Variations in color and veining are inherent in stone and wood and considered to be part of the natural beauty of the material. Images on the catalogue or website may vary from the final product.
We work every day to enhance our product’s quality, aesthetics, usability and reliability.
11. CUSTOM MADE PRODUCTS AND DESIGN FEE
ArtCom Paris has the ability to customise existing products or design new unique, one of a kind products to meet contract specifications. All situations that require custom designs are subject to an upcharge for design fee for more extensive drawings or renders the client may request for customised products.
These fees are non-refundable once paid for and will be deducted from the final cost of the order. The Buyer will be notified of any said fees.
ArtCom Paris has its own quality control and every piece is inspected before packaging and before shipping. ArtCom Paris has the responsibility over its merchandise until the moment it leaves our workshop or warehouse. The insurance of the shipped goods is optional and is provided by the shipping companies. The Client takes the responsibility after receiving the products. The POD (Proof of Delivery) must be signed with reservations subject to verification with / without apparent damage and provided to the shipping company and ArtCom Paris whenever necessary. Failure to do so and to provide written claim for any damage or loss within 7 working days of the delivery will automatically release the shipping company for any liability for damage sustained in transit cargo. Should the received article arrive damaged, please provide written claim to ArtCom Paris immediately after reception within 24 h.
Photographic evidence supporting your allegation must be sent by e-mail to: email@example.com or the respective sales representative. Upon confirmation of any defect, ArtCom Paris compromises to replace the defective part/piece integrally, within a period agreed with the client. The defective part/piece must be received by ArtCom Paris in its original package before any replacement can be send – especially in all cases concerning customised products or new products created to meet contract specifications.
13. PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Standard Product: 50% upon the order;
Custom-made Product: 60% upon the order;
Orders go into production only after ArtCom Paris has confirmed that the final invoice is signed/stamped by the client and the adjudication value has been received. The payment must be made by account transfer (in Euros) and the confirmation (receipt) of the transfer must be sent along with the signed/stamped invoice by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Payments in advance are non-refundable. All banking fees and commissions shall be paid by the Client.
14. LEAD TIME
3 days to 18 weeks for customised works + shipping
We’ll inform you if we manage to produce before the shipping date. The outstanding balance must be paid until 3 days before the expedition date. ArtCom Paris reserves the right to postpone the expedition date until full payment is received and confirmed. All products are ArtCom Paris’s property until the payment is fully received and confirmed.
Every downpayment and every placed order requires automatic acknowledgement of our General Terms and Conditions. Any question that may arise from the interpretation, application or obedience to these Terms and Conditions must be viewed and resolved in accordance with the laws of France.
